During 2021, the reality that my wife and I where going to move out of Atlanta had finally hit. It was something we had dreamed about for a long time and I couldn't believe it had finally come. Atlanta had been our home for nearly 10 years and while this decision was bittersweet, we where ready to see what life's next chapter had to offer.

So naturally, I wanted to make an album that reflected my time in Atlanta, which meant finally getting the stones to reach out to some of my favorite players I've met to be on the album. Anthony Dixon, TJ Merritt and Jordan Manley are some of the best players I have had the pleasure of collaborating with. These guys know their instruments like the back of their hand so conveying my half baked ideas to them and then to see them turn their parts into what you will hear on this album was magic to me. Plus all three are genuine good cats and a pleasure to hang with. I am eternal grateful for their willingness to work with me on this music.
